Balancing the roles of educator and artist has been a journey, but I’ve embraced it fully. My family keeps me grounded; daily, they remind me of the beauty in ordinary moments. But the heart of my photography, the spirit that keeps me creating, is Max. He’s more than a dog. He’s my muse, my travel buddy, and the quiet presence who reminds me to notice the small, beautiful things.
Through Max and the many animals I’ve known and photographed, I’ve learned this truth: love leaves a mark. My photography is about capturing that mark, those moments of connection, memory, and meaning that live long after a pawprint fades.
